3 DODGERS in NCAA Post Season Play

Three Saint Louis Metro Collegiate Baseball alumni are holding hot hands and participating in NCAA D-1 post season play.

Dan Holst, Southeast Missouri, via SWIC had two multi hit games in NCAA post season play and is currently hitting at a .322 clip for his Redhawks.   Dan is a outfielder who bats left and banged out 8 home runs this season.  Dan was a member of the St. Louis Dodgers and played his high school baseball for Coach Adam Stahl at Parkway South.

Lex Kaplan playing for Tulane University also made the Regionals.  Lex, a “lefty-lefty” outfielder followed his older brother, Jonny to Tulane.  Interestingly, Jonny also played Metro Collegiate Baseball.  Lex is a multi-talented player who possesses the tools necessary to play at the next level.  Lex played in every single one of Tulane’s 62 games this season and started in 60 of them.

Sean Ullrich currently plays at Louisiana Tech.  Sean, a 6’2” outfielder played his high school baseball for Marquette.   He was a member of the 2015 NABF National Championship Dodgers coached by Gus Lombardo, Mike Hunt and Adam Stahl.    This season for Louisiana Tech, Sean hit .333 with 17 extra base hits and a .511 slugging %, and a .985 fielding percentage.
